Looks like an emergency extraction/exit hatch for the driver...

Anyone have any idea if the new Papaya color will be offered as a PTS for the 4RS?

I just got a Macan in Papaya. It would look awesome with the WP, especially in Austin, Texas.

it is similar to carbon fiber, but uses hemp for the material. The idea is that it’s highly (lol) renewable.

It's a natural-fibre composite, was already used in the 718 GT4 Clubsport.

Extraction hatch so that the driver can be rescued, without removing them from the seat, protecting against further spinal/ cervical damage.
So the driver and seat can cone out as one through this hatch.

How is the seat attached that it can be removed from the top?

They don't actually extract the driver through the hatch, its used to place stabilizing sections behind the driver before extraction through the normal door opening that otherwise can't be inserted between the driver and seat. The twisting motion of removing a driver without any support can often cause further injuries.

Interesting, so these are derated vs the 490 of the street car.
