Vanity plates - let see'em

Here is a great example of how clean looking a rear plate looks without a bracket.
IMHO, plate brackets, no matter what, look like you went to PepBoys to pimp your ride…. Like back in the day when color changing windshield washer tips were “cool” - keep it clean, keep it classy!

Those washer tips, much like unpainted bodykits that don't fit, were never cool.

Nice but I’m always a little hesitant to reference speed in any way for a few reasons. One, our cars aren’t really that quick. Any electric car or just about any American muscle car can walk us in that regard. Second, I always think there would be no way a cop would ever let you off with a warning if you’re essentially bragging about how fast your car is on your plate. “Officer, I never speed, honest!”

I must be pretty ignorant because I have no idea how this plate references speed. Can someone please educate me?
