I’m number 2 at my dealer and I wonder if I will get first round allocations vs. second. I know it will depend on my dealer standing.

Time between allocation batches
Hey everyone, I was just curious if anybody knows about the time it usually takes between the batches of allocations. My dealer said there is about 3-4 people ahead of me on the list. Since the dealers received their first batches already, I was just curious if anyone knows about the amount of time until they would receive their second or third batch of GT4's. Thanks!

IIRC PCNA usually release these GT car allocations at beginning of every quarter and potentially up to 4 time a year. And the allocations are not given out to all the dealers all at once, it take sever weeks to distribute them.
However, PCNA don't strictly follow these quarterly allocations especially for these GT cars but I would guess the next round is coming in the 4th quarter of these year.

What I want to know is how many dealers got actual Spyder allocations? I have heard of two but this is all second hand without confirmation... can others chime in if you have gotten your allocation? Curious if it is 918 VIP only so far? Seems odd no one else has stated that they have received allocations.

An SA from my smaller NJ dealer told me they didn't expect GT4 allocations until later next year, with deliveries even later in the year. I have no idea if he knows what he's talking about but that's what he said. I may visit the dealer today (for service on another car) and see if I can get some additional info.

Weekly check with my dealer (Porsche Beaverton - Sunset)... They have not received any of their Spyder Allocations yet... just GT4. Wonder what the hold up is? Maybe they figure to build GT4's first for early 2020 delivery for the track season? then the Spyder is a fair weather sports car which can wait until Spring???

Allocations very dependent on a dealers volume of Cayman and Boxster sales. Makes sense right. Unfortunately, I'm learning that the GT4's are almost all coming with a $20K ADM. Just what I'm hearing fellas. Hopefully someone in the business will advise you differently.

I repeat once again... at the 987.2 Spyder launch, Porsche stated that this was NOT a limited edition. At the 981 Spyder launch, Porsche stated that this was NOT a limited edition launch. At the 982/718 Spyder launch, what did Porsche state? The Spyder has NEVER been nor will NEVER be a limited edition. Porsche has made it Limited simply by meeting the projected demand by dealers. Porsche did however under estimate the demand of the 981 GT4... but nearly doubled production to meet demand. Question is how did dealers project demand for the 982/718 Spyder??? They either under projected based on poor 718 sales or they put all their eggs in one basket based on deposits and over projected. Problem is that was before the C8 Corvette debut. That has thrown a wrench in everything. Time will tell. As far as I can say is everyone should be hoping for a more constrained supply as it creates a stronger retained value versus flooding the market with cars sitting on lots.

Has anyone else received allocation with a commission number at or past v200 status?
