You guys have way finer tuned ears then me. Hard to tell myself when the car is pretty much coasting. Definitely more overrun then the GT3

Sounds definitely like a turbo. Question is 4 or 6.

Same here, regarding the turbo 6. Though I am glad you kept the Spyder

Only other reason for neutered sound could be due to the new MY2019 Euro Noise Regulations (IIRC, Europe can't even have the exhaust button any more) and Required Particulate Filters??? The reason why the GT3RS production was diverted for Europe and delayed for USA (because we don't have the regulation) No matter what engine it has... doesn't sound as good as the 981.

Listen to this one. You can clearly hear a difference between the first car (718 Spyder mule) and the second car 718 flat four.

I think that second one is a Volkswagen Beetle.

After driving a 991.2 Targa GTS for the past 45 days, I have become in tune with the turbo whoosh. Maybe my hearing os going too, but I can't pick it up on the video. I guess time will tell...

If its the 3.0T I could actually get one vs complete unobtainium if it's 4.0 so sounds good to me.

Regarding the new Europe Sound Regulations
“The standards would only affect which vehicles can be sold from 2019. The new limits would be 68 decibels for cars, 70 decibels for vans and 78 decibels for lorries. The regulation will also introduce a new noise test method for vehicles.”

For reference, the 2016 Carrera S max is 78db
