Default Miami Blue 718 Cayman visits @ Shine Auto for Xpel Clear Bra!

Recently, we had a Miami Blue 718 Cayman in our facility for an Xpel Ultimate full front end coverage. Full front end coverage includes; full hood, full fenders, front bumper and side mirrors. We used only Xpel Ultimate self healing paint protection film on all vehicles.

The Ultimate line of film comes with a 10-year warranty and the best part is its self healing property. The film will actually self heal itself when it heats up from sunlight. Thus preventing any light swirls, scratches or debris from daily driving to etch away at the film. Sounds awesome right? Check out some images from the installation process and images after the install below. #SHINEON

Protect your investment! The entire installation process is now complete. Covering the full front end of your vehicle protects about a vast majority of the high impact areas which are prone to receive damage from everyday driving.

As you can see, there isn't any type of "orange peel" on the surface of the hood. Xpel is one of the clearest films on the market!

A full front end usually takes 6-8 hours. If we had it an entire day on a Friday you could pick it up on Saturday and enjoy the rest of your weekend in town.

Thank you for whetting my appetite for my MB 718 CS, due at the end of May!

I'm on the wrong coast for you folks, otherwise I'd definitely look you up.

Miami Blue is a fascinating color, totally changes from inside to outside. Nice work BTW.

Full front end's usually cost anywhere between $1,400-$1,600 depending on the vehicle.

About how much would it be to do all of the painted surfaces on a Cayman?

Usually full cars range between $4k-5k. Our best advice is to cover the "high impact areas" to maximize protection and your wallet!

I am planning to have this done when I purchase a 2018 Cayman. Is there a noticeable difference between where the wrap is and is not, such as the front fender and the door? In gloss, in depth, in reflectivity? The car will be standard black.

There is no noticeable difference as far as the appearance goes. The Xpel Ultimate film actually has a clear coat which gives your film a gloss like appearance just like the rest of your paint! The only difference you will see is that your paint will stay looking perfect because of the protection.

Do you guys cut around the emblems (i.e. 718 Cayman)? I don't see the "cuts" in the picture. Looks great!

On this particular 718, we did not do the back panel. The film usually goes around the lettering very tightly though.

I just scrolled through the pictures without reading your post (I just read the title). Thanks for the reply.
