My thinking, as of this morning, is that the deviated stitching might be too much given that there is not that much in my car. Almost like "dude, went a little crazy there didn't you", vs the leather matching the steering wheel (as commented).

However, this is like colors, and many of the options and choices Porsche gives us. It’s subjective and a very personal choice. Honestly, you probably can’t go wrong either way. One of the things I really like about my interior (and the way yours will be), to me it’s just the right amount of deviated stitching. Again, very individual opinion

Can not wait to see yours!
Well, to bring the deviated stitching on the steering column question to a close...
I don't love it. I feel like I went one too far with it. I don't hate it, and I'm sure some will love it - but to me, it sort of feels like I was trying to hard Black leather would have been perfect IMHO.

I agree with you, but it doesn't look bad at all. Did you have the option to just do the deviated stitching on the casing, or had to choose the deviated stitching 'package'? If it was the former, I'd be perfectly fine with that. In fact, I'd actually swap you the casing if you still don't like it by the time I receive my car. Ha ha. My interior is black/chalk full leather. Or use a Sharpie.
