When the map is up there is a bar across the top of the screen that says Google Earth loading and the little circle going round and round. It’s like that all the time even when my phone is turned off or I leave it at home. Google Earth is not even an app loaded into CarPlay. I bought the 2017 Cayman recently from a used car lot. I hav the Nav pkg. Any ideas to get rid of it?

Try pressing and holding the volume button until the PCM reboots (10 seconds). This may clear the fault

Ok that did not do it BUT by fiddling around I pushed the icon for layers in the upper right corner and a Google earth soft button appeared and was was highlighted. Tapped it and problem gone.
