Had a fun weekend cruising around downtown Columbus with a few friends. We managed to get this great shot with the Leveque Tower behind me.

Default Picked up 718 Base 6MT

Just picked up this 2018 Base Cayman with a manual, PSE, and SC. VERY excited to be back into a Cayman as exactly one year ago, I sold my 2014 Base Cayman with a manual, PASM and PTV and have missed that mid-engine feeling every day since then. Had some cool/different cars since then, but I don't think I'll ever be happy unless I'm in a Cayman. Coming from a 981, the 718 is a big upgrade overall in my opinion. I have no problem with the sound and the low end power is absolutely worth it to me. As much fun as I had on track in the 981, I'm salivating at the thought of my track day later this month!

Beautiful car! I went 2013 Boxster -> 2013 Boxster S with PASM and PTV -> 2022 Cayman T and yes, the upgrade from the 981 is immediately noticeable. Steering and improved power band are huge, and like you, the sacrifice in engine sound is worth the trade off to me.

Took a quick pic when I dropped mine (GT Silver) off at my dad’s and took his to my house to add the Rennline grill screens and flush the brake fluid for his birthday.
