Default 718 Spyder drone culprit

Installed a new Soul Performance exhaust with over axle pipes. Also, opened up engine compartment and removed the exhaust sound piped into cabin. She sounds as it should now!! Pretty simple to access rear and disconnect into cabin.

Did you try plugging the hole from the cabin side or was the only recourse disconnecting the tube?

Dumb question, where does this sound thing get its sound from on the engine? On BMW the fake sound came through the speakers. This seems like natural sound from the engine compartment maybe?

My GT4 cabin is loud enough, why did Porsche add this?
