Are the new Caymans getting Android Auto along with the new 911s? I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

I'm not sure but if you want it you can get it switched on in your existing 718 if you have a PCM for around $150 to $250US. It works very well.

The AA software is generic and has been there all the time as with other VAG cars. Porsche just never wanted you to have it.

Does it support wireless Android Auto. That thread and the link don't seem to say that it does.

No the AA activation is not wireless but I believe you can get a usb-wireless dongle if you really need wireless.

FWIW, I'm a beta tester for the AAWireless dongle, and it works great on my unichip-tec enabled android auto on my 2017 base cayman.

No they are not,but I can enable that for you.And also other PCM features if you are missing some,remotely.
