you need a 13mm socket to undo the ground nut.
I ended up doing the same and using the same ground nut. @TOY4S where did you end up mounting the B-124X?

Cost savings I bet.

I bought a bag of the proper connectors, disassembled the fuse box, and added my own harness to the backside of the two “new” slots I thereby created for the dashcam.

I initially plugged in the fuse tap in the wrong direction, simply because I had seen other pictures of everyone else's fuse taps pointing downwards. My original fuse blew, so I replaced it.

Not sure why I even tried to piggyback off an existing fuse in the first place, because I have many other open slots that aren't being used that also provide switched power.

I'm now tapping into D4 as pictured.

Original passenger fuse layout 718 GT4

Tap D4 (switched) in the correct orientation
