Who removed it and what did they charge? I have it on my 981 Cayman but I think I'd prefer to not have it, but I'm too cheap to pay a lot to get something removed.

The dealer removed it and charged for 30 minutes of labor. They understood what I wanted when I asked, but stated that once they removed it, I could not have it back. I didn't challenge that because I didn't anticipate wanting it back.

It does on the Macan. Switching to S/S+ on the highway is necessary if you don’t want to get the impression that the steering wheel is a tiller. (yes, a bit of hyperbole...)

Wheeelll laddie ... as long as we’re going to make sweeping generalizations without thinking about them at all... anyone, other than the OP, who has trouble parking a mid- or rear-engine Porsche *without* PSP is either a) challenged as the result of injury or birth defect, b) desperately needs rotator cuff surgery or c) needs to learn that driving with the seat as far back as possible with upper body reclined to an almost supine position attempting to control the car with finger tips only looks cool (for ignorant values of cool.)

PSP only works at or below 19 mph. It has zero impact on highway driving.

And at lower speeds, it provides decreasing assistance as you approach that threshold. You can only really detect it around 10mph and below.

The context of that response was not PSP. It was driving mode. Thus why I used *switching to S/S+” Does PSP have a mode switch?

Yes. I am a grumpy &*cker today.

I was not aware that sport modes affected steering on any Porsche. I thought it only affected throttle response, transmission software, and suspension.

It does on our Macan. It *may* be only an indirect effect, but it is noticeable to the hands on the wheel.

PSM, PTV thresholds are also changed in Sport+.

FWIW, I had PSP on my '18 Boxster and when I drive my buddies '19 Cayman I can't detect any significant difference at any speed, hence I didn't spec it on my '21 BGTS 4.0 order.
