Brake Pads for auto x / track with stock GTS brakes
Plan is to have car ready for AutoX / track. Purchased FVD steel braided brake lines and Castrol SRF. Any recommendations on brake pads that could be used with stock brake set up for the 718 GTS? Or even any brake kits? Thanks.

SRF is a good start for fluid. I find that pads tend to be a personal choice. How much initial bite do you want?
How much heat do you need in them to work optimally (what's good on the track may not be good for a 60 second autox)?
How much noise can you put up with driving on the street? If running on the track, which track? Some tracks are easy on brakes, where as others will eat the pads for lunch.
I like the Ferodo DS-1-11 pads on track, but the squealing on the street can be unbearable. I've also run Pagid Yellow's, they are good and have a good initial bit, but once the pad is down to about 50% left they fad too much on track.
Stock pads are actually good for autox around here. Max speed is ~60. Typical run is 50-60 seconds.

Depends on the track and how you drive. I used Ferodo DS2500 on several cars and recently used it for 3 days at NCM on my GTS plus I autox and drive the car on the street. Does all very well. A harder track on brakes you might want more but IMO its the best pad for all around as they don't squeal for street/autox use like some do that are more track oriented.

Clark at Apex Performance turned me on to the Ferodo DS3.12 pads and I've come to really like them in my CGTS. No squeal on the street, they work great cold (although they do supposedly wear the rotor a bit more than stock pads when run at street temps), and have been bomb-proof during several 100°+ days at Thunderhill. The biggest drawback is the amount of dust they generate.

I started checking for pads from Hawk and a few others and was shocked that they don't make them for the S / GTS for the front of the the car especially since it is the same pad for ~16-18 911?
