I wanted to know if PASM was standard on all cars or an option? I've seen it as an option thats no cost and its also supposed to "lower car 20mm" based upon description; however, a few dealers are telling me that its standard on cars?

Is there anything apart from drop in ride height?
PASM is standard on the GTS.
Sport PASM was an option and lowers the car by 10mm
I believe there are 3 718 suspensions from 2017 to current on base/S/GTS/GTS 4.0: standard, PASM and SPASM. Standard comes on base and S, with PASM as an extra-cost option.
On the 2018/2019 718 GTS, PASM is standard and SPASM (sports PASM) is a several hundred dollar option on top of that. On the 2020/2021 GTS 4.0, SPASM is standard and PASM is a no-charge alternative.
PASM lowers suspension by 10mm relative to standard suspension. SPASM lowers suspension by an additional 10mm (20mm relative to standard suspension.)
There are conversations elsewhere about the difference between PASM and SPASM other than the 10mm height differential. I don't know how accurate the posts in those conversations are.
I would add that my 2019 BGTS with PASM both rides and handles better than my 2014 BS with standard suspension (also with 20" wheels) did. Noticeably on both counts, for normal daily driving.
A pity they did away with the X73 sport suspension.
My understanding is PASM-S is the 718 equivalent to X73? Shorter/stiffer springs and stiffer anti-roll bars. -20mm lower over stock height. -10mm lower over standard PASM.

I don't think so, the SPASM is adaptive, and X73 is "fixed" and going to behave the same way despite changing road conditions.

I'm actually starting to believe SPASM are using the X73. After another member here had me try to also search and find the SPASM springs, it became clear SPASM either uses the same springs as PASM or uses X73. There is no clear SPASM spring in the parts diagram.
