The Macan MY21 has been released, still no GTS 4.0 configurator.

when was the GTS announced? Feb? so, probably 6 months later the order books will open and configurator goes live in the US
so, that would be mid-August or right after factory holiday shutdown
will it slip because of the virus?
I doubt it because the GT4RS is supposed to be announced by year end so not a lot of wiggle room

there is a configurator that shows all of the same colors as the 992 (including Python Green)
it doesn't have the pricing but you could guesstimate knowing options prices are probably the same

Your timing sounds about right. But since my dealer claims they have an allocation for a PDK GTS 4.0 for an October build (January delivery) as a 2021 model - It really cannot go much further than that.

I only have one addition - once you create your GTS in the international configurator - save off a code and use it in the Porsche AR app and explore your new car in detail.

Can a dealer have an allocation on a car not yet officially announced?

Both dealers near me have an October allocation for the gts 4.0. But neither dealer can open the link to configure the vehicle since there is no configurator. Kind of sad to watch the salesman try and nothing happens. But also glad to lock down an allocation.

One of the Guards Red, Cayman GTS 4.0 vehicles shown on Youtube, tested on the track at Estoril, had the horizontal strip within the air intake opening in the front bumper painted Guards Red. I really liked it. I haven't seen it on any other test car. Is it a Porsche exclusive? I wonder if it will be available on U.S. models in the Gentian Blue. Does anyone have any information about this option?

I saw that as well and absolutely love it. I like the separate intakes being clearly differentiated. I believe it will be an exclusive option. If not, you can always get your dealer to ask Porsche for a price to do it. They’ll do many things for the right price.

Yup, I got an email from my Sales Manager indicating they had been advised the configurator will be activated on Wednesday the 24th sometime

It's updated, GTS 4.0 now online but only in the configurator, not showing up on the Model's section of the website yet.

I'm not seeing it in the USA Configurator. Do you have a link to where you're seeing it?

Hover over Models, 718 and you should see it as a selection.

Looks like they took away my Chalk/Blue interior, I was really looking forward to it! Actually looks like many interior selections are not selectable it seems...

Select a different Cayman model to build. Then across the top first step is titled Models. Hover over that menu and you'll see all the 718 models available to build as dropdown menu.

You have to access them from INSIDE the configurator once you've started to configure a different model.
