APR tune released

Who's jumping on this? 100% port flashed with no ECU removal. Awesome numbers and power curves. The 6 cylinder purists can have their sounds.

Porsche Mode Switching
Each upgrade offers a host of improvements beyond power alone. Using Porsche’s Normal, Sport, and Sport Plus modes offers varying levels of output while retaining all of the unique characteristics present in each mode. Sport and Sport plus modes give you full power and torque. Normal mode give you modest increase over stock, but focuses on economy and comfort. We’ve optimized boost, fueling, ignition, cams, and more to achieve greater power and torque in all scenarios.
Features
In Sport Plus mode we’ve reduced turbo lag during reapplication of the throttle by building boost while off the throttle. We have linearized the pedal maps for a more predictable throttle response curve, which works exceptionally well on the track. We’ve enabled left foot braking, and brake boosting. The speed limiter has been removed. We’ve optimized the software to better handle larger wheels without excessive torque interventions. And finally we’ve inverted the start stop functionality so the vehicle starts with this feature disabled.

Cayman/Boxster S:
93oct: 376 (stock, crank, measured by APR) -> 406 (normal mode) -> 422 (sport/sport+).
Cayman/Boxster GTS:
93oct: 382 (stock, crank, measured by APR) -> 414 (normal mode) -> 442 (sport/sport+).
So net: ~50hp(60ft-lb) gains.
Price: $1079 (currently they have a discount on all software)
I can vouch coming from the VW world briefly: APR is legit, and has a lot of expertise / experience with tuning. If you were going to do it, this is the company to get right now.

Won't do the 2.0T or haven't completed it yet? I'd assume the 2.5L S and GTS tunes are more similar (small differences between the two in turbo size) than the 2.0L. APR definitely takes time developing quality products (at least from my VW experience), perhaps it will come in the future.

I’m leaning hard towards the APR. One thing Cobb has over APR is their accessport allows you to swap maps easily for race gas etc. The APR changes map based on normal / sport / sport+ but you have to choose your gas with the flash meaning if you want to toss in 93 for a track day it may not run well.

Never had APR on my Corrado (miss terribly), or 20th, but if I were ro get a tune in my current GLI, I'd go APR as well.

93 -> 104 (for the GTS) is from 442 -> 458. So 15hp for probably double/triple the gas cost? In my mind not really worth it for race gas

Does anyone have concerns about adding a tune with a 6M?
There was the earlier 3rd gear issue with some early (2017) 718s same as the 981 GT4s
I'm just wondering how much addition hp/tq they will take reliably.
