Nothing final yet, but the dealer has commented:

"The fire started in the engine compartment, without any external cause but with dramatic consequences for us and our loyal customer. I want to be clear that Porsche takes this very seriously and has started an investigation. There is a real chance that this will not be the only case in the future".

So no external cause and real chance of future occurrences.

Sounds like they know what caused it.
