Seems like you are a little faster under breaking and lower speed corners but then the RS is a little faster with the aero on the high speed corners as expected.

Though unexpected is that 718 GTS can keep up with 991 GT3 RS! Would be interesting to see what would happen with an aero kit.

Seb, do you think you are getting much better acceleration/pickup with the BBS Fi-Rs? I am thinking in the 19" you are saving maybe 3kg per corner compared with the OEM wheel which could also account for your extra pace.

Have you thought of installing the larger Girodiscs? Maybe improved braking and I think another 2kg weight saving per corner with the aluminium hats.
Hey the big interest of the FI R wheel is that the tire size become in 295 rear instead 265 and 245 front instead 235
and that give an hige difference in term of stability and traction
and yes i upgraded in giro disc, i will do a first test in couple of week 👌🏻

Some insights from my discussion with Manthey as Seb already mentioned, main goal is to get the 245 in front and 295 rear. There a couple of wheels which would work, the ones that Seb has, OZ has one as two OEM 718 wheels will also work. Regarding weight, I might only feel the difference while mounting the wheels to the car...

Pretty tough in the moment to find a car with bucket seats to start the project, there is almost no one available in my country.

Hi all!
on the last week en the cayman gts accomplished 84 laps on the nordschleife with absolutely 0 problem except tires changing at 40laps (the trofeo r was already a bit used)

We can really say that this car is soooo strong 💪🏻

wow.... thats a lot!!!
I know how I felt after 4 Touristenfahrten laps, I cant imagine what +40 laps per day would be like.

Also, are you considering any engine tuning or are you concerned about extra stress on the motor.

I talked with few guys who made some chip tuning on their cayman s who use the car on the track often, they report some driveshaft broken, overheating and few other issues and offcourse warranty is out on that case + car black listed by porsche 😬
so then i will keep the oem power to save the original
warranty and honnestly the 360hp of the cayman gts is far enough for touristenfahrten 👌🏻

40+ laps is just wow! The last track days I did roughly 18-20 laps and I felt that's enough..., so you did almost 1000km a day on the Ring and I know your speed, so just "Wahnsinn". Unfortunately I needed to cancel my participation on the 26th for the Manthey track day, but maybe I have a chance just to come along for an hour to see when you break the 1000km mark!

it was not very the proper tire on the track except that for aquaplaning and cold condition they are perfect.

the dimension are Oem in 19’ 235 on front 265 rear
perfect for daily driving and winter.

i paied the full pack (including tpms sensor) 1600€
sold for 599€ if picked up at nurburgring
