We did have the idea of foam also but haven't done that yet. The tape and extra wrap made a pretty nice difference but it still bounces around. Side Note: With the Heigo roll bar and the rear wing it's very hard to see out the back window unless a car is right up on your bumper.
Damn what a shame.

Its super annoying for me at least, every time i get on the highway i say a prayer, one day i have a feeling that wing will end up breaking and hitting a car, knock on wood.

I will be doing the foam method today and report back.

Do you have any picture of where it cracked with the tape and wrap? Just to visualize.

I just wish the blades and bracket were made of something else not ABS plastic, for $1K + its a hard pill to swallow, i should of went with the Ebay option, cheaper and same material.

Thank you for the reply.

Mine also moves/shakes at high speeds, very annoying.

I was told to fill it with ''2K FOAM''

Mine does the same..... It also arrived damaged and had to be repaired by my body shop that did the install.

Of course NR Auto went on a milk carton.... Pretty disappointed with my experience.

Wow! Three of us with the same problem and same issues with communication. Sorry to hear you guys are going through the same thing. It's hard to recommend NR Auto after experiences like these. This is definitely a plastic wing from China. NR's photos are the same exact photos as all the eBay listings for $300...

Here's some pictures of ours. The initial stress crack from all the flexing and bouncing, and you can see where we put some duct tape and then wrapped the whole underside in dark grey vinyl. When the hatch is closed it's barely noticeable because of the angle.

It helped, but just slightly. Definitely not a permanent fix

Here's our quick video of the Soul Performance 718 Boxster/Cayman Competition Package on our Project 718 track car. We are using Soul's catless downpipe and their valved mufflers. We did not connect the valves but sound changes dramatically between Normal mode and Sport mode on the steering wheel dial. Video does not do this justice, the turbo spool in hilarious!

Soul Performance Products are available through our website. Let us know if you have any questions. Special thanks to John @ Soul for all his help and support with our build

Product Review!

Eric from the Radiator Grill Store sent us a set of their mesh inserts for the front radiators. Our radiators have been getting dinged up from rubber chunks and bugs on track here in Florida. We definitely needed something to protect them.

Installation could not have been simpler. The mesh pieces are cut to fit exactly and the bumper did not need to come off. All we had to do is slide the mesh up and over the top grill slate and line them up. There are four pre-installed zipties on each piece of mesh for easy installation. Once lined up we snugged up the zipties and cut the tails off. It looks like the car could have come from the factory with these.

Here's a couple of photos of them on our car. We are 100% confident that these will hold up to the 140+ mph track speeds and the flying rubber bullets.

Thanks again to Eric at RGS for his support with our build

Any updates about the heat soak you were having even after installing the third radiator?

Also, why don’t GTS models overheat?

The Base, S, and GTS all use different turbochargers

See post #92 above from May:

Two minor things we address this weekend to aid in the cooling of the car: We purchased a small electric blower to aim at the intakes and brakes in between runs. With only one driver the car had at least an hour to cool between sessions.

We also removed the large underbody panel under the engine/turbo/wastegate to see if that helps temps. From what we can tell the aerodynamics were not affected in anyway and the car still felt stable through Bishops Bend and at 145mph before T17. The turbo never heat soaked and was as quick on lap 1 as it was on the final lap of the day. The Florida heat had temps just above 90F. It's hard to tell if the blower, removing the panel, or both helped, but the car never skipped a beat.
