Hey there all. New to this forum. I have questions about the exterior lighting. I have seen different lights lit in different photos and cannot tell which ones perform what duty, and which ones can be activated / deactivated.
Side markers = basic always lit side markers, I assume
Thin horizontal light = is this DRL, or fog light?
4 lights around circular light in headlight assembly = is this DRL as well?
Rectangular light in headlight assembly = low beams?
Circular light in headlight assembly = high beams?

In a headlight WITHOUT PDLS there is a single inboard led light that’s a DRL and might be what you are talking about. Headlights WITH PDLS have one of two - four led DRL systems. With four leds closely surrounding the main lights, these are Bi-xenon headlights. Headlights with four leds - in the four corners of the headlight assembly are LED headlights.
