It takes all of 5 minutes (total)

(same as 981 / 991 generation)

When I changed out mine, I didn't have a plastic trim tool and instead used a wooden golf tee in the same fashion. Worked like a charm, no damage to the paint.

Sorry to bring up an old thread -- mind if I ask where you got your clear corners? So many vendors on Amazon an eBay, hard to tell which ones are legit.

(and ditto, nice garage!!)
