Joe... I just found this in the 87-91 PET... the line diagram shows the bumper cover with what appears to be 2 exhaust outlets -just like yours. Very curious...

How about a pic of the complete rear of the car (just blot out tag #)?

That's just it Joe.... I think it is a mistake in the PET manual. Or, it never got beyond the idea stage and never corrected. Interesting how the PET diagram coincides with your custom mod! Priceless.

Here is a mix of photos of the new 89 I am picking up this weekend. Look at that dash!!! NOT A CRACK!!! (I had my way with photoshop fixing tears, paint flaws and cracks)... I sure wish these cars were as easy to fix as with photoshop..
