How does April 19th sound? Taxes should be done, the weather will hopefully be good and the roads salt free.
Can I ride with you? Gulp, does this mean I actually have to drive?? Well, I'm NOT on call, and if the weather's good, and the roads are clear, count me in!!

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa??? Are my eyes reading this correctly? Kudos to you Phil...i know you represented last year that you would drive your car more often, so I guess your intentions are really going to be carried out! You realize you'll put over a hundred miles...maybe 200 on in one day....right? lol.

If Phil is coming....i'll make a damn good effort to join as well.

W- you know I'm not going to put 10K miles on the car in 2008, but I'm absolutely determined to drive and enjoy it this year. Really.

I believed you, I'm just happy to have you along.

As for miles... If I remember correctly, the Spring Fling route is around 75 miles - the true test of your resolve is whether you're now sitting there with a cold sweat.

No, but it's not even February yet! Just a mild tremor at this point....

Wayen, Phil is probably going to borrow his brother's new 987 S for the day. Either that or hire a flatbed truck for the day to haul him around. I can hear him now "vrooommm..........VROOOMMM"

Hey Phil, aren't you glad I'm back in town?

Tim, I love your plan to take my bro's Boxster - he won't mind (yeah, right). And you know I'm always glad when you're back in town, especially since you live in NC and I'm in PA, that's an easy one. Seriously, hope all went well this week!! Looking for your PM.

Sounds cool. Let's make it an early kickoff again so that I can enjoy getting up at 4am to be with you guys...unlike last year. Seriously, great idea and looking forward to it, even if it is 2.5 months away.

That's just wrong - don't even put the idea in his mind!
