Hi I have a 356 c with a big bore kit on it 1750cc the engine has only done about 1800miles and has now developed a knock.I have pulled the engine down to the case and have found that three out of four pistons have picked up on the bore. It also looks as if the engine has ofer heated as the ends of the piston rings have turned blue.
I wondered if anyone has seen or heard of this before, as I dont want to put it back together again and have the same problem.
