the one i was thinking about, belongs to Ed Pimm, who is a porsche restorer and mechanic, and has his own 'scrap yard' full of old 911s and 356's. in it is a roadster in a little bit better shape. he turned down 5k for it, last he told me, and so it sits in the back yard, amidst the weeks, and grass, and othe porshes, rotting and waiting for the rest to be used up or restored.

Yeah, back when I had my 190SL there was a guy who had the warehouse behind me that had a whole field of 4 door 190s, plus he had a few SLs and a 356 just rotting. I think he went to jail and the FBI used to come by asking about him. Interesting.....
