Default 356 in Kyoto, Japan

Greetings all,

Was recently walking the streets of Kyoto and came across this beautiful 356. We hung around for a little bit but no one showed. I didn't want to intrude so I couldn't really look it over (or catch the VIN) but wondered if anyone - by any strange change - would have any info.

An Oriental barn find! Got headrests and a nice wheel. I could not live with a garage like that though.

super cool! The last PCA magazine had an article about a 356 meet in Japan. What a sight!

That's a luxury garage in Japan! Cool find! Wish I had stumbled by that the last time I was in Kyoto for a week, would have banged on the house door til the owner came out.

Friend's car in Ashiya, Japan (south of Osaka). Bought it new in Beverly Hills when he was posted here. Has the Beverly Hills Porsche license plate frame and California plate mounted on his front door of his condo in Japan, put a big smile on my face when I last visited his home.
