I know it's not over. When dood said enjoy getting hit I knew then it was gonna be bad. Quite frankly, when jesq said he had em, I took more time to consider them again, but still decided no way.

It's for those that want that look. Don't browbeat me for Christs sake.

Op is getting irritated I'm afraid.

My bad....
I will try to find or take daylight pictures so I can further read how much you don't want them.

Wow thats awesome, thank you.....I must agree with you, I won't change the bulbs in 356 but I've changed out exhaust systems in the rest of my Porsche fleet? I'm a true wackadoodle.....I'll change my user name now!

Purist? In some ways yes....others no. The mods I've done aren't visible.

Pat, I stared at my rear end a lot and realized how dim my 6v original lights were. Culayer LED's really don't look much different, but quite a bit brighter, they install in the original taillight housings and fixtures. My first "mod" when getting my 356 some years ago was modern three point seat belts. I'm not into perfect concours, I always planned to have a really pretty driver, I do want to stick to "stock" within reason, but not to any extreme. I got badly rear-ended in my first car (1959 Austin Healey "Bugeye" Sprite) (with similarly little 6v rear lights), so always nervous about the guys behind me. (Rear-Ender was obviously far more interested in his girl's equipment than my taillights, coming from a quarter mile from behind almost killed me while I was stopped in front of the Malibu Sheriff's Station on Highway One).

Periodically a strange one appears...you fall into that category. I figure youre still young and learning about life. As you age and mellow you will see, hopefully, weird comments and strident talk is not your best approach to interaction with fellow porsche owners.

jesq...previous owner converted my car to 12 volt when restored. Lights are pretty bright.

46 is young? Thanks! Don't be humorless my friend. My Interactions with most Porsche owners the last 15 years has been stiff and boring for the most part. Usually a few pop out of the crowd to take things less serious and enjoy the cars and a laugh, try it.

I said most not all. And how did you know I had your picture taped to my mirror?

Surprising comments. Not one negative.
