I ran across this place today while in Oakland CA. Business was to ship autos to Europe and they said these were all headed there. So Long!

If you didnt know, the "EU" is pretty big and the weather is vastly different depending on where you are so if for instance these cars end up in Spain the wheather is like in california. And if they end up in Sweden, we do not drive cars like that in the winter. Another thing to look out for is the sun. I have seen a lot of old cars come to europe from america that are in really bad shape because of the sun and dry climate.

So dont worry. These cars will live pampered lifves.

Hopefully the tide will turn and the cars will return from Europe. My 55 Pre A Speedster went to Europe last year via Rotterdam Port, the same port she left to come to the promised land 60 years ago

Exports to Europe are already down due to the euro's ~20% decline against the dollar.

Very true as evidenced by the number of collector cars staying on the market longer. This time last year you could barely get posted before you had a number of inquiries, mostly from Europe.
