63-69 356, 912 European exhaust pictures
We need to see some pictures of a correct European exhaust set-up for 63 - 69 356 - 912's
We have a stunning 63 356 Super 90 Coupe (43k miles) in the shop and the exhaust is just not right.

Here's the basic "correct" system: http://www.stoddard.com/shop/shopdis...Exhaust+System
Do you want a "correct" "factory" setup for originality, or other period correct but not factory setups? It was common back in the day to go to alternative exhausts - Sebring, stinger pipes, etc.
I can't remember the name right now, but I have an almost new modern high end all stainless aftermarket exhaust (list price is about $1,200) which exits under the center rear bumper with 4 pipes (2 + 2) and has a very nice, louder, deep rumbly tone - very cool system. The [U]only[U] reason I'm not running it is because I can't clear my steep driveway with it. I've been meaning to put it up for sale but just haven't gotten around to it. If you might have any interest PM me and I'll dig out the manufacturer name, etc.

I found the picture below of a T6 and a comment in the 356 Registry (must be a member to access).
Comment: "I had a T-6 with Euro/Sweden/good exhaust. My recollection was that the position of the brackets determined where the band clamps ended up. Those brackets are bent in a pattern that does not attempt to be symmetrical. I don't think that they lend themselves to making the clamps be the same distance from the muffler outlets without a clamp slipping off of the one bracket."
