A Special Display of Porsche History - June 19 - Norwalk CT
Come and see a special display of Porsche history at CVR's 38th Annual Father's Day Concours!
As part of Porsche’s 60th Anniversary in America, PCNA identified the “oldest” of each model sold in this country. Our special historical display this year will include a number of these cars including CVR Members' Steve Torkelson’s 1965 912 and Jeff Coe’s 1992 968 Cab.
We invited several other east coast designee and are pleased to announce that the following other 60th Anniversary Honorees will attend:
Dr. Bob Wilson's 1952 356 Cab - designated as the oldest 356 sold in America David Adrian's 1999 Boxster
Pending: Barry August's 1965 911
We are very pleased that Dr. Wilson is making a very special effort to have his car shipped to the event.
Believe it or not, this will be the first time 2 or more of the honored cars are in the same event, something Porsche never did!
Details about the event are at this link: http://www.cvrpca.org/ontheroad.php?id=2
Photos of the cars are on the Concours website.
Please feel free to participate in our People's Choice Concours as well or just come out and see the special display in a great setting. It will truly be a photo op for history.
