Keep an EYE out for the TRE run group! Their annual New Years Day "tour" usually goes up, down and round the Malibu canyons. We ran with them two years ago.....all 200 of them!

Of course we see them. Remember the year a couple of them went off the road?
Made it bad for everybody. It would be great if the went up Angeles Crest and just kept going.

LOL! Yeah the time we went with them it was crazy! We were somewhere in the middle of the pack on Mulholland keeping up with the car in front and staying ahead of the car in back. There was a guy along the road actually throwing rocks at the cars! By the time we got to the halfway point, it was reported that two CHP helicopters were looking for the group. We had had enough and pulled out to head home and 4 or 5 cars followed us. I waved at them "we're going home" they just waved back and kept following!
A nice spirited cruise is one thing, but this was as close to a race as you can get without being on the track!
