I'm looking at a 1961 356 as a daily driver. I used to daily drive a 1966 beetle, what's the comparison?

they are similar in design philosophy, yet quite distinct in execution. if you liked the many unique aspects of the beetle, & found its quirks endearing, you'll really like the 356 - yet the 356 is a true ("iconic" we like to think) sports/GT of the '50s-'60s, comprised of high perf / high quality components that yield a special "of-a-piece" experience.
