1957 Porsche 1500 GS 4-CAM Engine
Serial # 90760
This is a complete and fully operational engine.

Maintained and serviced for over 10 years by
Gerry McCarthy and Jeff Adams

Engine features:
- Numbers matching internal parts
- Solex PII-4 Sand Cast Carburetors
- Stoddard NOS exhaust system including heat exchangers
- Original Knecht air cleaners
- Modern K&N air cleaners

Wow, you buy a Beck Spyder w/o engine and buy this engine !!! Here it is, an almost real Spyder 550 ! For, well, $140,000.....

If you want a Beck with a "clone 4 cam", the most cost-effective & appropriate engine would be a Jack Raby-style VW motor. Back in the day (early '60s) the highest output 4cams (587 series tuned for comp) had about 185hp... 130hp was "streetable & reliable", as used in the 356B C2.
