The car is located up in Canada and hasn't run since it threw a rod back in the 70's. I think it has upwards of 150,000 miles, but should be completely original and intact.
Any ideas how much something like this is worth? This is pretty much a barn-find. A lot of work will need to be done to get it up to snuff, but again, I think it's all original and all there.

you can track current values by observing the selling price of completed deals on ebay, you can watch for similar cars offered for sale on the 356 Registry & contact a local chapter, or talk it over w/ dealers like European Collectables or Bob Campbell.
so much depends upon that car's specification, history & condition (esp chassis, esp where you can't easily inspect it) that an off-the-cuff estimate can create more confusion than clarity. you really want an eyes-on appraisal by an expert. however, I'd guess it could be worth somewhere between $5-20K... but I'm not a buyer. good luck!
