Default Value Question

I have been checking out the possible purchase of a 356. I prefer a Cab. When purchasing, if you had two cars identical, one has the original drive train with matching numbers and the other does not. What would be the price difference?

The big question is how much more are you willing to pay for matching numbers. If you're looking to go hit the concours circuit (or are a purist curmudgeon) I think it would carry a stiff premium. If you're looking for a fun driver, maybe not so (especially since there are many upgrades you can do to make the car more drivable).
