Dear David, I asked my friend Freddy and he told me, althought he never did personally, that the attaching points for the screws are ready and under the vinyl cover...you just have to feel with your fingers to find out where exactly to make a hole and attach the headrests...he thinks all seats came ready for installation from the factory...
I'll try and get somebody else's experience in this matter...please act with caution!!!
thax pedro and ked for reply
i also asked bob for a manual or better installtion procedure
but no reply rcvd
i have a meeting this weekend here with flipper ....
drove it all weekend and dos SHE drives
If you can wait until this coming weekend, I'll measure my old seats and post the down and across measurements of where the screw holes are. The head rests blocked way too much of the rear view so I removed them and the mounts so the measurements should be easy.
When you put on the headrest, consider putting it just on the passenger side. That is the way my '65 C coupe (also dolphin grey) came from the factory, and I think it looks "right'.
