the C's and SC's were 6v too? i could have swore those would be 12v.

All 6v...except Carreras and special ordered cars...

Yeah, this is why I like Joe Leoni's 356 electrical books. Has all the trouble shooting, etc. in it as well as tips on how to do things like adjust regulator output.
