NY
My girl and me will be visiting New York the first week of january 2007. Of course we'll be looking at statue of liberty, Ellis island, Empire state building, etc etc etc
But I thought while we are there I might also see some nice 356 stuff, shops, garages or something like that. Is there something you can recomment me?(356-wise). Maybe a big swapmeet of some kind?

(don't overlook the Guggenheim & MOMA...)
the first week of the year in NY is spent (mostly) recovering from hangovers...
might start reading the Sunday NY Times for a few weeks before you arrive.
have fun!

offer him something Porsche-related from The Netherlands that he doesn't already own...
it would be neat if he opened his collection to the enthusiast public every few years... he had his 917 down at Daytona for Rennsport Reunion - seemed to be having fun (how hard would that be?).
