now that is a rare one!! i have seen and read alot about those and other vw based sports cars from the late 40s/early 50s, but ive never seen one of those fore sale before.

I think it's big money for a car that is not really a Porsche, it's a one-off special with Porsche power (and an ugly one at that). I have one of those, with good race history, and I'd be happy to take $200k for it...
