Thinking of 356 Racing
I'm thinking about doing a little 356 racing. Have done a little shifter kart racing and circle track in the past. Any ideas/suggestions, known cars for sale? Thanks in advance. I'm located in NC.

The initial point-of-entry is the 356 Registry, specialist teams / shops & the various vintage race sanctioning bodies. I'd buy a ready-made race car over a street conversion project - probably because I am following a dual-use approach from a street car w/ no comp history. It will probably take forever, cost too much $ (whatever that means) & end up as a mid level rally / de car that can be a "daily driver" (accent on the quotes). Welcome & join the fun!

Hi...take a look at: http://www.356enterprises.com/
I'm pretty sure Vic Skirmants will gladly "show you the way"...I'll second Ked's advice as well...get a 356registry membership!
Good luck...

Burning Brakes
My car could be for sale. 2 hours on Ecurie engine. Did a 2:24 at VIR 8 days ago. Not inexpensive. Located 3 hours north of VIR. Current SVRA logbook and race ready. Disk brake car, of course.

Check out my web site - http://www.boxstar.net/
I could talk for days on the subject and am happy to answer any questions. #1 piece of advice is - before you buy any car be sure that it will be legal in the organization you want to race with. Rules vary greatly.
PS - I'm head out for a two week trip - racing at Laguna and Thunderhill over back-to-back weekends - Yipeeee!!!
