This car is actually made up of THREE different 356 bodies. It belongs to Lewis who incidentially is the owner of Karrosserie in Virginia. It's totally cool. I call it the coming and going car because when you look at it, both the rear and the front have the same hood. That is because he basically took two front ends and put them together, along with the rear fenders of a third car! This car was on display at the Smithsonian Insitute and was the BEST OF SHOW winner at the 2004 East Coast Holiday in Williamsburg. It the first time an Outlaw ever won BOS at a 356 Registy Holiday. The purists must have gone insane!!!

Here it is at the ECH 2004:

This is Lewis with his car. If he looks wet, we were!!! It was pouring:

Wasn't there a story on this car in Excellence magazine about a year ago?

Hi JoAnne...would you trade this "JaLo butt" Speedster for your new baby? I wouldn't!!! Does that make me a purist? Probably! ;- )

Interesting combination. That's a heck of a story, JoAnne. Thanks for sharing.

Nah I wouldn't trade it for an all original car, but I wouldn't mind having it as a unusual, unique show car! Absolutely one of a kind!!!

Pedro, you are not a 100% purist and you know it. You liked Max!!!!!

Got to be "purist" to appreciate Max... "pure" adrenaline!

I also dream about this 1964 Carrera 2 GS which lost his 4cam engine a long time ago and is crying to have a well tuned 2.2 filling its guts...but don't tell anyone...I like to keep my wet dreams private!

New baby is coming this week...tic tac tic tac tic tac....
