Not a poster. It's a original oil painting. It almost looks like suede. Really cool. I love it. Pictures do not do it justice at all......

Now I'm confused, Mike. The picture is of your first car but you just recently painted the item JoAnne is holding?

JoAnne is correct the piece was done in 1982, the car was 1954, the award at Parade was 2005. That makes the circle 51 years around. Makes me feel old!

Mike

Where has the painting been since 1982? Why did you decide to sell it now? Are these too many questions? The story intrigued me.

These are very good questions. The painting has been in my possesion since its completion. I did the piece for myself as it was my car long ago. It was also burried for many decades in storage, not being viewed. As the Parade was getting closer and I had recently rediscovered the painting in a move to a new studio I wanted to donate the painting to the Art Show at Parade. I entered it in the art competion and put a dollar value on it deciding that if it sold the money paid would go to the sponsering regions favorite charity. The really great part of this story is that the painting took 1st place in the professional catagory, sold and is now in the possesion of a true 356 beliver. All good.

We could all get an "R" tatooed on our foreheads! This would be hard to miss!
I've already got mine. Mike ;-)
