Ok, here it is - this will be an ongoing thread documenting my spirial into insanity........wait, I mean my restoration of a 356B. It belongs to a friend of mine who also has a 356C that I can't recall the year of. Anyway, I hope this helps others and I sincerely hope I will be able to solicite help from others as I forge ahead.......
Today I logged 10.5 hours at my real job today, so play time was cut a little short. I did however make some progress on the deck lid. I have applied two coats of paint stripper and sanded the main portion. I still have to finish under the grill area as well as the underside. Forunatly, I found very very minimal dings, virtually no body filler, and just a couple spots where surface rust was encapsulated and stopped by the hardened paint.

Well, I spent from 7:30 AM to 7:05 PM at work today and I am TIRED - BUT I did get some work done today.
I stripped the front bonnet this evening and found some Bondo - Yuck! It also looks like this panel has a small case of being "attendee-ized", but nothing devastating.
