Question Carpet color code?

I've been told I need to get a code number, for the color "Oatmeal", so I can have ordered the German Square Weave carpet. Does anyone know what this code # is?

Brett I see you have an "A". Do you have access to 356TALK? If you do you can ask them. If not let me know and I'll ask for you.

Cheers,

Brett - I've just checked my 4 year archive of 356talk (at www.gruv.org/356talk) but no mention of color code for carpets... There are lots of mentions of the oatmeal square weave carpet though. If you aren't a 356 Registry member, send me a PM and I'll give you a password to access my archive.

Hi Brett...I'm not aware of code #s for carpet color...I'd contact Autos International Inc. (760) 737-3565 and mention you have a 1956A and you are looking for the appropriate "Oatmeal" carpet for your car...they have both domestic and German...I'd go German square weave...
Regards...

Thankfully, the upholsterer fellow I'm choosing to use, found the needed info, got a sample, it is German square weave, so I've had ordered an appropriate amount, and we'll see if it was enough..... The "restoration" has commenced..... {GASP!!! EEEEEEKKK!!!!!!}
