Harry....That's just kinda scary! They "mounted" the body onto some chassis + motor? The guy wants $250 deposit upon completion of auction!?! He'll be lucky if the bidding goes that high.

robert..

its a 912 body mounted to a VW type 3 chassis (using type 3 motor and automatic gear box as well!) The stuff welded to the tunnel in front of the auto shifter is part of the stock type III floor pan.

its not an outlaw.. its an outrage!

talk about Caveat Emptor!

the big mehcanical thing behind the gas tank and ontop of the smugglers box? its a gas heater, but its not a webasto thats for sure... not sure what kinda gas heater it is.. but its a gas heater..

Maybe the house owner keeps a mint Carrera Speedster in the garage and just wants to scare off any potential car thieves
