Default Fixed my carbs this w/e - yet again

Any idea why I would get crap in the jets on Cylinder #1 each time this happens ? I mean, why #1 ? It's not the closest to the fuel pump, yet it's now the third time in a row. I'm getting good at this, this time I did not even dismantle it much, just sprayed carb cleaner down the mixture screw hole and it came back to life ! The filters (all 3 of them) show no gunk this time. Maybe I should start by replacing the fuel hose just before the carb...

Anyway, it is nice to have a big bore 912 on 4 cylinders again - especially in a light 1957 A, she goes ! ;-)

Following recent repairs, I also now have brakes AND brake lights and ordered that third brake light (accelerometer based, no wiring: http://www.brakeflasher.com/main_classic.htm ) now that my drums can actually challenge a roller skater in braking ability ! NOt pretty but we'll see how well they work !
