A beautiful warm day in Seattle and I drove the "Little Car" (as we call our 59 A Coupe) to the office. Got stuck in traffic and snapped this shot while waiting to exit the freeway...

i always loved the 356A's.. just the ultimate classic look. banjo steering wheel, painted dash, the roundness of the body, hub caps, hood etc.. much more classic look compared to the b's and c's.
im with robert, more pics please!!!!!

My pleasure...
I bought this car last summer out of John Audette's collection (Bend, OR). I flew down and drove it home, about 7 hours. It shows 67,000 miles and we believe those are original. It has had a repaint and new upholstery on the front seats and new carpet. Other than that 100% original, matching numbers. It has the Super engine and is really fun to drive.

that is such a great picture. and is just such a classic sceen. looks like one you would see in excellence.
i know not many are big fans of orginal bumpers (and im certainly not one who puts importance on originality).. but it looks SO GOOD with those bumpers.

Thanks Harry. Here is another one I took the same day last fall, out in the farm country. Catching the bird in flight was pure accident.

According to my handy research guide (The Porsche Family Tree), the 1600 Super motor was available starting in 1956. 75hp instead of the standard 60hp.
