356 Lift Points -2 Post Lift
Good morning:
New member here with a question regarding where to position the lift pads on a 1963 356. Would like to access the starter and also look into a small transmission leak.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Dan

For the front, right behind the inner curve of the wheel well and the pan. Or if already flattened, the rear bottom of the wheel well on the seam.
For the rear, the rounded part of the pan/frame just below the torsion bar mount.

jack points
Buy and install these: https://precisionmatters.biz/jack-points.php Then use without worry. Most other areas depend on strength of 50+ year old metal.

ltusler: does the blue tape represent "right behind the inner curve of the wheel well and the pan"? Possibly just inside of the red fender? Or all the way back where the seam "turns" and heads toward the front of the car? Or anywhere in the middle? I am I completely off base?
Thank you for helping with this.
