Not "correct", but since the Fuchs wheels were developed in the '60s, I'd bet they were not an uncommon upgrade on 356s in that time period. Always liked Fuchs, but like anything, it's in the eye of the beholder.

In 1973 I owned a 64 356 sc bali blue coupe. I saved for months to buy a set of fuchs for it as they were the hottest item at the time to put on your car. Forgot what I paid but my car was sure the **** back in those days.
I thought OP was talking about the movies on display. The fuchs weren't on the radar as they were very popular in those days. If you had a 356 and could afford those wheels you had em!

4.5" Fuchs
This is a friends' Speedster with rare 4.5" Fuchs in the proper finish by Harvey Weidman. He's running disc brakes as well. To me these always looked great on this car. Right size, correct profile/width tires.

At the San Ysidro Ranch, Montecito--totally ruined by the flood of January 2018.
As an old school Porsche guy (starting in 1974) you either went Fuchs or you went home.
I have them on my 997S and I have them on my 64 C.
