market values
i searched this thread for info on what to expect regarding 356 market values, the search turned up some specific info on a Speedster and a notchback, many of the search results were several years old, 2015,2014 etc. so my apologies as I pose this question: I noticed a 1964 SC, with engine rebuild , re-paint, rust remediation and other important mechanical repairs selling for $62,500. A drivers car. Of course would need a PPI and additional questions answered, but Is This a Bargain? Thanks

Hagerty Insurance has classic car values (hagerty.com). I think they are good ballparks, especially after recently trying to value my car and speaking to one expert I know, where Hagerty #4 condition value was completely in line with what I was told. But keep in mind that condition makes a HUGE difference in values.

If you are referring to the Twinburg Ohio car it is painted a non Porsche color. Lots of fresh undercoating that could be hiding things. No mention if numbers matching. Battery box floor has issues. But cold be a decent driver anyway.
